Happiness

Hello and Happy Wednesday! It's been raining cats and dogs since yesterday and it's still wet today. On top of that, we have the wind which is not helping because all the umbrellas keep breaking!!! Talk about crappy weather...

Today is another bi-weekly challenge over at Hobbybook and the challenge is include a sentiment.

My card is a CAS card and I tried to do this once in a while. I tried my best here to go with that style but it's hard (very)!

Hop on to the blog for more inspiration from my fellow team members.

Get Wellie Soon

Hello! Hello! Seems like it's been a while since I posted here. I had some personal family problems to attend to and the kids are so busy with their extra curricular activities that I feel I don't have the energy and mojo to make cards.

Here is today's card for which is a progressive challenge at Imagine That. This is my first time playing with this challenge and I almost didn't make it. Sorry for dark pictures (night time owl!)

My sketch comes from the YNS Sketch challenge and I was also inspired by the photo where I used some of the colors.

I colored her with prismacolor pencils and baby oil. I added some chocolate stickles on her glasses and her bandana. I also doodled around the scallop borders which I have cut with my nesties. I used the out of the box technique for her feather.

Here is a close  up

{DG} Special Delivery

Happy Good Friday!!! The kids are home today and we are busy preparing for Easter! We are planning to go out on Sunday so let's hope that the weather will cooperate...Today is my weekly DT post for the Doodle Garden blog and I have colored this newly released image "Special Delivery"!

Here is my card

I colored this image with Memento markers and prismacolored pencils. I used my scalloped rectangle nesties for the mat and added some pink stickles to the borders. I punched some white cardstock and added some ribbon trim on top.

Sentiment is a rub on and I added some twine that I attached to 2 buttons. Papers are from a DCWV baby pad. My sketch comes from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and I did an A2 card instead.

Vroom to say Hi

Hello it's Thursday and that means it's another fabulous bi-weekly challenge over at Aud Sentiments. Our sponsor is Doodle Pantry and the theme is

"Sentiment for a Friend"

I chose Toy Truck Ants to play with since I don't make masculine cards so often. I went with a clean look here.

I cut the letters with my cricut at 1" using the plantain schoolbook cartridge.   The griund was done using the cuttlebug folder.

Hope you like it and enjoy your day!

Make A Wish

Happy Saturday! Yay! Today a new challenge starts over at Doodle Garden. We have an inspiration photo for you to play with below.

For my project, I made a box of treats. The box was cut at 5 1/2" from the Tags, Bags and More 2 cartridge from my Cricut. For the image, I used Birthday Wishes for You, which I colored with prismacolored pencils. I also used my nesties to cut the scallop mat and added some pink glitter around the image. The flowers were cut from the Flower Fun Spring grass die and some pearls were added for the middle.

The sentiment comes the Chelsea set and I used my square punch to make the corners of the banner. I do apologize for the darker pictures today since the weather has not been cooperating today.

Here are more pictures of the treat box. Enjoy!

{HB} Just Because

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! So far, so good! Today starts a new challenge for Hobbybook. The theme is Use 2 die Cuts or more. This proved to be difficult for me since I do NOT own a lot of these. I use my Cricut most of the time.

Here is my card

The image was colored with prismacolored pencils and cut with my oval nesties.  I used the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and cut the mat shape at 3 1/2" (both green and white) and embossed with my dots folder. The flowers come from the Flower fun Spring grass die.

My sketch comes from Die Cuttin Divas

Hello

Hello everybody! Happy Tuesday! How was your weekend?? I am swamped with DT commitments but I managed to do a card today. I really, really wanted to play with this cute digi from YNS, Tobi with Pinwheel. Here is my card:

She was colored with my prismacolored pencils (see the pics below) and I used my rectangle nesties to do an out-of-the-box technique. I also doodled around the borders and added some grass from a YNS Flower Fun Spring die. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom of the image and matted the background and image with black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in pink pigment ink.

My inspiration came from the sketch and the photo where I used the colors of the flowers.
