SBC's Secret Santa Blog Hop

Merry Christmas to you all from the SBC Design Team. We are so excited because Santa is taking a mini- break in the preparations for his annual Christmas Eve debut.  He came by for a visit and hopped over to each of the Design Team's blogs.  The good news is that he said none of us are on the naughty list!  And, he did leave some presents just for you, our followers.  Its a secret though! We don't know which blogs have the presents, but I do know he picked two of us, yeah!!!  All you have to do is follow us here at the club, hop over at each blog, leave a comment for the girls and follow all the blogs.

Can you believe I don't own a SINGLE Santa stamp so of course, I panicked. Luckily, I remembered I had a Santa cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables.

The background was done by sponging the snowflake stencil  with white pigment ink and I masked the middle of my card. I stamped the bow and heart in red pigment ink and added the tiny white sequins that came with the December SSS kit. The sentiment comes from the SSS Big Holiday wishes stamp set that was included in the kit.

Here is a close up of the Santa that I layered.

So your next stop is CINDY'S Blog and by the way there is ... 11 days left till Christmas!

Here is the entire line up for you to follow:

Hope you have a Blessed Christmas and thanks for stopping by,

SBC Design Team

I used the Party Hat Kitty Slide Card and went with a Birthday/ Xmas theme since somebody's birthday falls on Xmas day!!! Talk about a double party for that sweet little girl!

Here's the inside and sentiments are from the Simon Says Stamp Big Holiday Wishes and Happy Birthday Sets.

Designer papers are from Studio Calico and Recollections. Some ribbon from my stash and snowflakes from a Fiskars punch were added as embellishments. HobbyCutz Challenge #28 - Make a Christmas Decoration

Hello, hello everyone, it's Sunday!!! Are you still sleeping in?

This week's challenge for Hobbycutz is to make a Xmas Decoration! I took the liberty of using my "not-so-used" Cricut and used the "Tags, Bags and Boxes 2" Cartridge to make this!

This was cut at 4" for both the layer and the base at REAL size dial. The pink layer was embossed with the Cuttlebug dots embossing folder and glued. The image, Catching a Snowflake,  is from our sponsor for this week, Limited Run Stamps.

The image was colored with Prisma colored pencils and I added some Clear Stickles for the snowflakes. This can also be used for a tag should you decide not to go for a Xmas decoration...

To finish, I added some Xmas ribbon.

Need more inspirations? Check out what the team members did here :-)

SBC - Challenge #7 - Letterpress

Happy Sunday everyone! How is it going so far? For my family, not so much since we all have been sick this past week...My kids first and now, my turn. I do hope that hubby does not get it.

The challenge for this week is Letterpress where you will use a Cuttlebug folder or any folder that will give some impression with some ink. I used a Paisley folder with some Memento ink and here is what I came up with. Our sponsor this week is A Day For Daisies where you will receive some moolah!!!

The letterpress technique is very easy where you can use the emboss or deboss side with your ink. I went with the emboss one. My image was colored with prismacolored pencils and then matted with black cardstock. The banner was fussy cut from a Unity stamp and the word L-O-V-E was added with a white gel pen. The card was finished with some flower punch and a white resin flower.

Here is a close up of my image.

We hope that you will come and play with us as you run the chance of winning over at A Day For Daisies. Please do visit my teamies and leave them some love here.

Wishing You another Year of Blessings

Hello, hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Hope you are enjoying family time with family & friends and that you've had an AWESOME Black Friday too! I have a cold so bear with me today please.

Now, onto my card, From The Heart stamps had this image called Balloon Ride for their Progressive Challenge and I played with their sketch #44. Ta-da!

The image was colored first with prismacolored pencils and then stickles of different colors were applied. I did a sky background with my Memento drop and some cloud template. You will notice that one of the mouse (on the left) has a red "feather" on his head. I made a boo boo and I couldn't remove it so had to make as if he was wearing one...

Everything was then matted on kraft cardstock and I added some border with a Fiskars punch. To finish, I added some pearls. Here is the inside.

My sketch comes from The Heart Stamps #44.
