So Lucky to Have you

Hello everyone, Valentine's Day is coming so quickly and this is one card made for my sweet hubby. I have used Torico's freebie and colored with prismacolored pencils. Papers are from Martha Stewart and I've some adhesived brads aorund the little cute bear. I have also added some stickers to the hearts.

My original plan was to do a 3D paper piecing but it didn't work out. The glue I've used just flattened out after drying and it took me so much to do the fussy cutting. But, I will not give up!!! Some lace,  ribbon from my stash and a heart chipboard were added as final touches. The sentiment sticker is from Bo Bunny.

Here is the inside with a semtiment from Create with TLC.

Happy Birthday Brayden

Image is from 2 Cute Ink and sentiment is from PTI - Script Sentiments

Brayden will be 5 this Saturday and my daughter has been invited to his birthday party. Of course, she is all ecstatic because she will be going on slides and jumping castles... So, I made the background paper with all the green scraps I had laying around and used my sewing machine to give it a quick stitch.

I colored the image with prismacolored pencils and used the black glossy accents for the glasses. To finish the card off, I added a butterfly accent.

I also used the same PTI sentiment to do the gift wrapping and the envelope.

So Proud of You

When I was making this card, I thought about my longtime bud who just passed his doctorate in Chemistry Polymerisation. Don't ask what that means....

Anyhoo, it's been a while since we last chit chat and thought of sending him this. I have used Kraftin Kimmie Sakura (a stamp I have had in my stash for years!!) and colored her with my prismacolors.

I then stamped the PTI Script Sentiments with Memento Rose ink and used my black marker pen to give a tad bit of shade to the border of the banner. I then attached two Bo Bunny brads to it and matted it on some Hibiscus Burst PTI paper.

Scored the top of the card and voila! I had to decorate the envelope for the MIM #100.

Challenges:

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge - A trio of embellishments (I had 4)

Love you

Blogger is giving me trouble to upload the pictures. Is it doing same for you?
Since Valentine is around the corner, I wanted to start on my Valentine cards. I got the color inspiration from the picture and the sketch below.

The image is from Whimsie Doodles. I punch the flowers from pale green cardstock but I don't know the name of the punch. Anybody can help me? I also added some adhesived pearls onto them.

I colored with my prismas, stamped the background with PaperTrey Ink Gold pad onto green cardstock and matted it on embossed paper. Flowers were punched and adhered with pop dots and 3L adhesives. The words "Love you" were handwritten.

Since I need to send this card to a friend, I needed to have it sent in a bigger envelope. I used some pink fluorescent "washi-like" tape, doodled an arrow and stamped some flowers from the Swirly Set.  I also added some embossed cardstock inside as a token.

I have also made this envelope for Make It Monday #100 where the oh so talented Dawn McVey shows us how to package cards with oversized embellishments.  I know my embellishments are not oversized but my border which literally acts as an embellishment, do fit the idea right?
