Up, up & Away

This is my third post for today.

This card is for the challenge at Verve Stamps where we are supposed to use stars and stripes. I used the Up, Up & Away set.  I used one of the hot-air balloons and stamped it three times. I used 5 different pigment inks for the stars and the basket. I also used the cloud in the set and fussy cut and glued them partially.

Papers are from an old Basic Grey collection and the ribbon is from my stash. The border was done with a Martha Stewart set.

I am entering this card in the May Diva Dare challenge and also at Simon Says Stamp Challenge. I'm also adding this to the Sister Act Card Challenge, Totally PaperCrafts Challenge

P.S: I have candy which will end tomorrow. Please check it here and I have updated my sales page. I really want to give these stamps a new home. Thanks!

Thank You

This is my second post for today...

I colored her or him with my prismas and matted with some True Black Gina K Designs papers. The patterned papers are from an old Basic Grey collection. I added some adhesived gems for some bling and used my white gel pen to add some added texture. Foam dots were added under the image and the sentiment to add some dimension.

Friends are Like Stars

Hello my friends, I do hope your day started bright and beautiful. Today, the weather has been very generous with sunshine compared to yesterday's rain.

For today's card, I played with Words To Live By stamps set to create a summery card. It's a clean and simple card. I cut a piece of Basic Grey paper and glued it with my ATG on the left side of the card. Then, I stamped the sentiment and added some stars in different tones with a HA CL352 stamp set.

P.S: I have candy which will end tomorrow. Please check it here and I have updated my sales page. I really want to give these stamps a new home. Thanks!

Friends Forever

Hello everyone, hope you're having a fantastic day so far. Mine is not too bad given the fact that my son is getting better now. Poor little one!

The theme at Meljen's Designs this week is Words with Friends and I decided to play with a freebie that she gave away on PCP. I colored the image with Prismas and die cut the circles of the designer papers using my Circle nesties. The hearts and sentiment inside are from Hero Arts. I added some foam dots as you can see above. Yellow baker's twine was used to finish the card.

I used some stickles to give her shirt some bling. Hope you can see it!

The colors have been used from DTC'S color palette below which I tweaked a bit.

The inside - I went really plain.

I used Lacie with Ice Cream by Mo Manning. Papers are from Cosmo Cricket - an old paper pad I have in my stash and I cut out a small border of chocolate cardstock.
I also used a sketch from Stampin Bella. I do hope I've done justice to the sketch!

I love that stamp but never got to use it until today. I added some baker's twine and finished my card with my corner rounder.

You've been in my thoughts

Hello everyone, hope you're off to a great Thursday and your week has been great so far. Mine was hectic since the kids got sick again. I know you must be thinking what's happening to this family? I tell you I'm speechless but I know one of the reasons is all because of the weather. Last week, everybody was in their shorts and sleeveless tops and this week, it has been cold .. felt almost like winter especially Tuesday. I had to get the winter jackets out just for a day but still the kids got sick. Actually, my daughter got sick on Sunday and then it was my son's turn yesterday. You know what happens right? When someone is sick in the house, everybody gets sick. Today, they're bit better. Phew! What a week!

So, for this card, I have used the sketch from Delightful Inspirations and I have used Carly CreamaCup and Drew Berry Mouse. Polaroids frames are so in vogue right now and since I don't have a die like that, I had to make do. The flower button was given some dimension by using a pop dot.

I have even thought about a story for this :-) It's two friends meeting up after a while since they are both busy with their own work but stops for a minute to look at the butterflies. They chat for a couple of minutes before getting back to their own respective work. Isn't it sweet??

Here is my card:

 Supplies:

Cardstock: White (Staples)
Images: Carly Creamacup & Drew Berry Mouse (both from The Stamping Chef)
Ink: Printer, Black & Sky Blue (Memento)
Coloring Medium: Premier Prismacolored pencils
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Punch: Butterfly
Sentiment: Create From TLC
Accessories: Black Marker Pen, Flower button from stash, Baker's Twine, Foam dot

Challenges:

Delightful Inspirations I {Heart} Sketches - Sketch #18
Delightful Challenge - Bingo (Button, Add Dimension, Pattern Paper)

Birthday Card for Ronald Mac Donald House Blog Hop

Hi, welcome to the Birthday Card for Ronald Mac Donald House Blog Hop. The theme is Birthday Cards for either a Boy/Girl. The children's hospitals here are the best for about 6+ hours in any direction so this RMH serves a lot of families - they can rooms for 17 at a time. When they ask for donations, they ask for anything that someone might need so that they don't have to spend their money, gas, or time going out to buy it, so this will be something small but appreciated!!

For this hop, there will be 2 prizes, a stash prize given randomly to a commenter (you have to  comment on every blog),  a stamp set and crinkle ribbon from her etsy store given randomly to the people who mail Sarah cards. You can contact her for her mailing address here.

If you are coming from Sandy, then you are on the right track. If you got lost, please start with  Sarah.

For my birthday girl,  I used the sketch from Designed To Color, colored Dancin Kaylee with my Premier Prismas and used a Spellbinder Nestie to add a mat. To follow the sketch, I cut small squares from the Studio Calico Winter Wonderland and Dear Lizzy Neapolitain  and glued it to the cardstock. Sentiment is from WaltzingMouse stamps. To finish the card, I doodled along the border and added some sequins from my daughter's stash.

Here's the line up in case you get lost.

Creations by AR - Customer Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the Creations by AR Mother's Day Customer Blog Hop. We have 11 blogs participating!
If you have arrived from Lisa's blog, then you are on the right track.

The theme is "Mom's Favorite Color" and her favorites are red, pink and white. I chose the Carry All template by CbyAR. This template is so versatile and I chose to leave it blank for now but will add some sweet treats for my mom later. Can't spoil the surprise now? It took only a sheet of paper to build this box!

I used the Floral Fantasy embossing folder to give some texture to the box, added some Martha Stewart patterned papers from the Love Paper Pad and wrote the sentiment in my own handwriting. For the embellishments, I punched some butterflies from glittered paper, added some Mulberry paper for the flower, a flower brad in the middle and a lace trim to finish the box. There! Sweet and simple! That's how MOM likes it:-)

Want to win a template from the store?  Here's all you have to do....

Visit and leave comments on each of our blogs listed below.  You are also welcome to leave comments on the AR Facebook PagePlease 'Like' the CbyAR page if you haven't done so.

Put a Ring on It Hop

Welcome to the 'Put A Ring on it' Blog hop.

If you came here from Robin you are in the right place.  You can also start over at Melanie's blog,

May is a popular month for weddings.  So we all used AT LEAST 2 circles on our project.

I went with a simple project since my son was not feeling well and he got sick again...If I had to count the number of times he got sick this past winter, my fingers won't be enough for these:-)

I chose to play with Color Me Wonderful from Saturated Canary and colored it with my prismas. The hair took me forever to color but I'm happy with the end result. I cut it with my Nesties and the sentiment is from Fresh Squeezed Stamps. To finish the card, I added some medallions and butterflies from my stash.

I am the last one for this hop. Enjoy your Sunday and don't forget I have candy which ends May 31st.
