Sale page updated!!!!

Hiya friends, I have updated my sale page. Please check it out from my tab on the top. I would really love to send these to a new home :-) Prices are lower than retail price. These have been used once or twice and some never used. I bought those but never had the chance to play with.

Thanks for giving these new stamps a new home.

Happy 5th Birthday D!

Hello everybody, it's Thursday...YAY!!! Can't wait for the wkend since we have a birthday party to go to. Well, it's my nephew's 5th birthday :-) Of course, I had to make a card for him, right?

Did you know that Pollycraft is back??? Yes, they are and they have a DT call too. This week, the challenge from Little Miss Muffet Stamps (LMS)  is to use "Kraft, Red & White" and you get to play with either Pollycraft or LMS. I chose to play with an old digi called "Hippo Superhero". It was colored with prismacolored pencils and matted over brown cardstock.

I also used some of my old eyelets that I bought and never, ever used since I didn't know how. but today, was the first day and boy, did I have so much fun! I also dry embossed one of the strips of white cardstock. Hopefully, you can see it :-) For the sentiment outside, I used some washi tape. Gotta love it!

Friends Forever

Hello everyone, hope you're having a fantastic day so far. Mine is not too bad given the fact that my son is getting better now. Poor little one!

The theme at Meljen's Designs this week is Words with Friends and I decided to play with a freebie that she gave away on PCP. I colored the image with Prismas and die cut the circles of the designer papers using my Circle nesties. The hearts and sentiment inside are from Hero Arts. I added some foam dots as you can see above. Yellow baker's twine was used to finish the card.

I used some stickles to give her shirt some bling. Hope you can see it!

The colors have been used from DTC'S color palette below which I tweaked a bit.

The inside - I went really plain.

Believe You Can

The Stamping Chef's new challenge for this week is metal and for me, the metal is from my yellow brad on the flower. I did not have any metal in hand since I barely use these in my creations.

I chose to play with Fairy Forest today.  I hand cut the sun rays from scrap paper and colored her with my prismas. I also cut a quarter of a circle from a piece of cream cardstock. Doodled around the borders and finished it with a flower.

You are Sweet

For this card, I wanted to go with a CAS style. I've tried it before and I never got it. I really wanted to go CAS for this image and I colored it with my Premier Prismas and markers. I used Lacie with Ice Cream by Mo Manning. Papers are from Cosmo Cricket - an old paper pad I have in my stash and I cut out a small border of chocolate cardstock.
I also used a sketch from Stampin Bella. I do hope I've done justice to the sketch!

I love that stamp but never got to use it until today. I added some baker's twine and finished my card with my corner rounder.

P.S: I have candy which will end on May 31st. Check it here and Good Luck!

You've been in my thoughts

Hello everyone, hope you're off to a great Thursday and your week has been great so far. Mine was hectic since the kids got sick again. I know you must be thinking what's happening to this family? I tell you I'm speechless but I know one of the reasons is all because of the weather. Last week, everybody was in their shorts and sleeveless tops and this week, it has been cold .. felt almost like winter especially Tuesday. I had to get the winter jackets out just for a day but still the kids got sick. Actually, my daughter got sick on Sunday and then it was my son's turn yesterday. You know what happens right? When someone is sick in the house, everybody gets sick. Today, they're bit better. Phew! What a week!

So, for this card, I have used the sketch from Delightful Inspirations and I have used Carly CreamaCup and Drew Berry Mouse. Polaroids frames are so in vogue right now and since I don't have a die like that, I had to make do. The flower button was given some dimension by using a pop dot.

I have even thought about a story for this :-) It's two friends meeting up after a while since they are both busy with their own work but stops for a minute to look at the butterflies. They chat for a couple of minutes before getting back to their own respective work. Isn't it sweet??

Here is my card:

Accessories: Black Marker Pen, Flower button from stash, Baker's Twine, Foam dot
