Something in the air

Hiya friends,

This card is for the CDAC Progressive Challenge (CDACPC17) where the theme was "Something in the Air" and I have just made it to the deadline. I wished I had made more cards but due to time constraints, I just couldn't. I have made this card for my girlfriend who needs some encouraging words and thoughts for the hardships she is going through now.

The sketch is from I{heart}2stamps

Here is my card

Birthday Wishes

This weekend has been very crazy for me. Yesterday, I went to a sewing/craft fair and today, I took the kids to the nearest fair and boy, am I tired. I have added some stickles on the flower and hearts but with poor lighting at night, it did not come out well.
Here's the sketch I had to use

Here's my card

Rain or Shine

This is my first time trying to enter the Hero Arts contest with this month's theme being "Sunshine and Showers".

I have used the Hero Arts House with plant stamp and have stamped it four times. On the left, I have used bright cherry colours to represent Sunshine and on the left, dull colours to represent Showers. I have also colored the plants with copics. I have also used some foam dots to create some dimension for my black frame. The windows and doors have been fussy cut and it did take some time but I enjoyed it in the end.
Here's my card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: Black, White (Paper Mill Store)
Ink: Pigment (Aladine)
Foam Dots: Glue Arts
Copics: B02, YR02, Y08, V15, R32.

Happy Birthday Little Princess

A little princess will be celebrating her 5th birthday this weekend and I thought of using an unusual image as my focus. Usually it's always fairies and princesses but I wanted to play with the ostrich, which is usually seen as an "ugly" bird. I think it came out pretty, don't you think? I've cut one of the crowns from the patterned paper and used some foam dots to give some dimension.

It's all about the bears

Good afternoon! I'm trying to finish the CDAC Progressive Challenge and to tell you the truth, I wasn't feeling it today. I've got a bad strep and my whole body is aching. I tried to push myself but it's not fun when I'm sick! No creativity happens...

I have used the sketch 161 from Card Patterns

Dream with me

This card was for my daughter who likes to dream a lot:-) She is only 4 but you all know at this age, they love to dream and sometimes, I wish I could go ahead and dream away with her. She has a very big creative mind. I have stamped my criss cross stamp a lot of times to create my own pink paper. Unfortunately, I don't know the name.

I've inspired myself with the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches

and here's my take
