Get Well Soon Kim

Today, I wanted to create a card for my good friend Kim who has been under the weather these past few days and thought I would bring some cookies since she loves them a lot. I decided to use the sketch Scrapbook Sisters:

Here's my take:

Thanks Oodles for the cookies

Over at Progressive Challenge #10, we had to create something with the theme "Bringing out the New Year" so I used the sketch from Catch The Bug and to be with the theme, I made her say "thanks, oodles" for the cookies that she had in her hands. It's a gift from her family for the New Year and the funny story is that she can't put on more weight now that she is a senior!

The digital image is from Bugaboo Stamps and the sentiment is a vellum sticker from K& Company.

Here is my take:

Recipe:

Paper: Martha Stewart Cardstock, pink and stripe papers from my stash.
Ink/Markers: Memento Black Ink, Copic markers, prismacolor pencils, Martha Stewart Black Pen
Accessories/Tools: Classic Circle Nestabilities, ribbon from stash, bling from stash.

So cool!

I have been meaning to use this stamp for a while since I got it form Sparkle but haven't had a chance to play. Today is its lucky day since the weather is all foggy. This stamp makes me think that it's so cool to stay inside. I took my black, C9 and C7 to play with the hair today. These colors I don't tend to use a lot.

Recipe:

Papers: MS Cardstock, stripe paper from stash
Stamp: Karber So Cool

I've also doodled around the sentiment and around the border of the card.

Happy Birthday Daisy!

This is my first post for this new year of 2012 and so, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2012!

My card is for Daisy who celebrated her 6th birthday on Dec 25th. She is a Christmas baby and that is why I have used a Christmas digi for her. I have paper pieced the bottom of the snowglobe after I have colored it with my prismacolored pencils. I have tried using baby oil for the first time to show the contrast in color.

I have used the sketch from Sweet Sunday.

Here is what I came up with:

Here is the inside:
Recipe:

Paper: Natural Bazzill Cardstock, White Bazzill Cardstock, MS pink cardstock, designed paper from stash.
Stamps & Digis: Happy Birthday from G Studio, snowglobe by Crafty Ann's, Button bear by Digistamps 4 Joy
Accessories: Dots embossing folder, Fiskars flower border punch, labels nestabilities, prismacolor pencils, heart brads from Recollections, ribbon from Michaels, stitching.

Did I overdo this one? Please let me know.
