Merry Xmas

Hello again! I wanted to pop in this card I made for the i{Heart}Sketch. I made a Xmas card. It's  never too early to do so I think.

I used the sketch today since I didn't have time to make an interactive card. The image was colored with prismacolored pencils. I die cut some vellum and added it to the back of the image. Used some scraps Xmas papers and added some twine behind the button.

My sketch comes from i{Heart}sketch

Challenges:

Xmas card - Favorite medium (Prismacolored pencils)

{SBC} Remember the Happy moments

Good morning! Happy Sunday! Hope you had an awesome breakfast today. Today is my last DT post for the Scrapbook Blessings Club Challenge. Our sponsor is A day for Daisies and our challenge is a mini challenge where it's Anything Goes. You can also combine it using the different tutorials we had from Jan to Mar of this year. More details on the blog here.

I made an easel card and also made my own patterned papers. I wanted to go with a mom's theme. The image, Mom Hugs, was printed onto Neenah Cardstock and colored with prismacolored pencils.  I also die cut the scallop frame and the mat using the Elegant Cartridge. The stamps used are unknown since I threw away the papers. I doodled around the border for the sentiments and added a kind of flower lol. To finish, I added a flower that was glued onto twine and a circle made with a 1" punch!

Flying by to say...Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday! How was your day so far? Ours was very busy. Grocery shopping, taking my daughter to a birthday party, dinner time and it's still going on. Anyhoo, my card today is for a boy who turned 7 last week. I do hope he will like it!

Here is my card:

I went with a clean design since I wanted to focus more on the image and the background paper is already busy. Puppy Pilot has been colored with my favorite medium, prismacolored pencils and matted with a black cardstock.  The sentiment comes from rub ons and added onto a banner. I had to include a piece of cardstock at the back so that the banner can hang. I also added a piece of ribbon on the left bottom corner of the image.

Here is a close up where I added some sequins.

Here is the inside of the card. I have used the "Big Holiday Wishes" stamp set (see below)and masked the "Holiday" before stamping the "birthday" from an Inkadinkado set.

G is for ... Girl

Hello again, finally the day is coming to an end and then the weekend is here! Can't wait! I have this cute girly card for 2 Cute Ink challenge. I love her images - too cute!!! The theme is Easter or Bunny and I kinda went with both, well sorta. I got the bunny right but colored the eggs in Easter colors. So that's a 2-in-1 card, perfect for that little girl who is born around Easter. What do you think?

The image is colored in my favorite medium, prismacolored pencils and a border was doodled around the border. The scallop mats were cut with my Cricut.

The heart paper, the sentiment banner and the flower chipboard are from a baby girl's kit, which I had in my stash for years! I just know I had to use this today.

Here is a close up of the image, Baby Easter Bunny.

Peek-a-Boo

Hi again, this is my second post for today. If you are looking for the Hobbycutz challenge one, please look below.

This card is for the i{heart}sketch challenge where we had to follow the sketch below and use one of the images from From the Heart Stamps. I went with a monochromatic look for my ribbons.

I chose Flower Pot Chick, which I colored with my Prismacolored pencils. I matted the image with some vellum which I die cut from my Cricut. Paper and twine are from American Crafts. Sentiment is my own handwriting.

My sketch is from i{heart} sketch

Happiness

Hello and Happy Sunday! Hope you had a great weekend. Ours was a cold one since we had snow Friday night and it was all cloudy! Unfortunately, this is my last post for the Hobbycutz DT. Our sponsor is Whimsy Stamps and theme is girly but not pink.

I created a beach scene. I think it's still girly don't you think? I chose blue and orange for a girly theme.

The sun was done with a circle nesties and the rays were colored with prismacolored pencils. Butterflies were stamped and fussy cut. I made my sand with the swiss dots folder and I used my orange pencil to mark the outside of the shapes.

Hello

Hello Friday and Hi everybody!!! Yesterday marked the first day of Spring and boy, it wasn't Spring at all. It was all so chilly and windy...Felt like autumn to me. Today is another challenge at Creative Fingers. Our sponsor is Nikki Burnette and the theme is Glitter.

The image, Little Red Riding hood, has been colored with Prismacolored pencils and matted with different colored cardstocks. I have used the out-of-the-box technique here. I added glitter on one of the mats and the cape.

Here is a close up of the glitter in its glory!

Spring

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Welcome to another challenge from Hobbybook. Did you have fun for our first one? I do  hope that you did. This time, the theme is Spring.

The image, Scribbled sentiment, has been colored with prismacolored pencils and cut with square nesties. I used some black cardstock for the mat and added some PTI harvest gold ink. Papers are from MME and K& Co.

The flowers are from two punches that I don't have the names unfortunately. I added a pearl in the middle of each, curled the petals and drew some lines in the middle with an orange gel pen. I also added some leaves from a Martha Stewart punch.

My sketch comes from Sketch Saturday

Heard you were dragon

Happy Sunday and good morning!!! I am here with the latest challenge over at the SBC challenge and we're asked to make a "border sentiment". Our sponsor is Stamp and Create.

The dragon is part of the Enchanted set  from The Alley Way stamps and I use a post its just like in the video above to get this done. The dragon was a bit tricky to stamp since I had the sentiment in the middle.

Here's how I did it:
  1. I stamped the head of the dragon first
  2.  cover the sentiment and the head with post its
  3. Trace the head with a pencil on the post its
  4. Stamp the rest of the body
  5. Add sequins of different shades (My dragon was not feeling well) and cut if needed
  6. Instead of breathing fire, I used the small set next to the dragon's tail (see picture below) to show that it was sick!

A close up of my sick dragon

I used the BIC#50 photo for color inspiration (green and black)

Hope you like it and tell me your thoughts on it. If you need more inspirations for this challenge, visit SBC and enter to win a prize.

Luck of the Irish

Happy Saturday! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Mine isn't! I still have a sore throat and according to the doctor, I have bronchitis and now, I am on antibiotics. My son hasn't escaped it too!!! I don't know how long this weather will keep on playing with us. I'm really getting sick of this! The forecast is higher temperatures on the + side until Friday when it will snow AGAIN! Yes, I know. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

My image is Irish Coffee, a FREEBIE that Jenn gave us and that is still there if you want to scoop it up! Since St. Patrick's day is coming, I went with a green theme. The image was colored with prismacolored pencils only. No baby oil used this time. It was fussy cut and matted on some Neenah cardstock, which was cuttlebugged with a dots embossing folder. The green scallop and polka dotted mats were cut from the Elegant cartridge and plantain schoolbook cartridges respectively. Sentiment is from my own handwriting.

The circle was cut from the plantain schoolbook cartridge.

My sketch comes from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and I chose the round shape.

P.SIt's Jennifer's BiRtHdAy and she is celebrating by passing on a gift to YOU!
