{DGDT} I love Canada!!!

Hello and Happy Saturday! Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Doodle Garden this month. The theme is a patriotic one so let's show off our patriotic colors. Since I'm from Canada, this is my way to show off my patriotic colors and I made a spinning card.

 Here it is

I followed this video tutorial to make this. This little cutie is Three Cheers girl, which you can find here. She was colored with prismacolored pencils and gamsol. I tried to draw a maple leaf flag but failed to do it properly :-( Shame on me!!!

As you can see from this picture below, I used a 1 cent coin to make the girl spin. I cut the circles with the circle nesties (2 different sizes) and passed it through the chevron embossing folder. I added a piece of foam to the coin and made sure to lay it between the circles.

I hope you liked it and for more inspiration, visit my fellow teamies here

{DGDT} Summer

Hello everybody and Happy Saturday! What are your plans for this weekend? We will have to use plenty of sunscreen today since it will be nice and sunny. Yippee!!! We have been waiting too long for this kind of weather especially after a rude, long winter...

Today is another monthly challenge over at the Doodle Garden blog and our theme is Summer. I chose to color Beach Day with my trusty prismas and gamsol. A very quick and layered card perfect for summer! My sketch comes from Try Stampin on Tuesday.

Toodles now,

Jennyfer

{DGDT} Roar

Hi and Happy Saturday! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Today is another monthly challenge from the Doodle Garden and we had to follow a sketch (see below).

I colored Larry The Lion with my colored pencils and matted it on some brown cardstock. I also pieced the border of the image. Papers are from Stampin Up. Ribbon and  button are from my stash.
 Here is a close up

Here is the sketch we had to follow

Feel you need more inspiration? Come on down and visit my fellow team mates on the blog. Play with us and you might be the next winner!!! Good luck!

Friends

Hello again, if you're here for the Sunflowerfield challenge, please click here

This has been a very busy week as you can see and I promise this will be the last for today. I recently made the DT for the Doodle Garden blog and boy, am I excited! Jennifer Nilson, the owner, has the cutest stamps ever and this is Ellie Elephant.

Here is what I came up with

Ellie and her friend have been colored with prismacolored pencils and memento markers. The dp is from an old Cosmo Cricket pad (Double Deck). I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder and a wax crayon to add some texture. Flowers are from a Marvy Uchida punch and the leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch. I doodled some lines on the flowers and added some sequins for the centre. Sentiment is from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Here is a close up

Have a fab day!! I just recently created my Facebook Page. I would love for you to visit me. Thanks.

Make a Wish

Hello again, I was running to make this one and finally did in the nick of time. This is for the Whimsie Doodles monthly challenge.

I used the Shell a bration set in the This and That section. I went for a masculine birthday card since one of my daughter's friend birthday is coming up very soon. I know he loves basketball and so, I chose these papers. The pearl and balloon fish were colored with my prismacolored pencils and I matted them onto some black cardstock.

I used my Cricut to make a circle that I cut in half for the basketball paper. The sentiment is from the birthday Inkadinkado set and these were stamped on a balloon die cut from Whimsy stamps.

To finish the card, I added some green twine.

My sketch comes from the Whimsie Doodles Jan challenge.

December 25...

Hello everyone and Happpppppy Monday!!! The snow and the windchill have made it impossible for me to stay outdoors...

This card is for the monthly Xmas challenge at DigiStamps4Joy. It's my first time playing over there and I was given this darling image to play with. Christmas is 11 months away but it's never too early to start right?

This card is fairly simple where I have cut the scallop edge with my Cricut and did the sentiment with the alphas stamps from the dollar bin from Michaels. Papers are from a Christmas Recollections paper pad.
