Paradise

If you are looking for my post with the Scrapbook Blessings Club, please click here.

Hello and it's me again!!! How are you doing so far? The weather has suddenly become very cold and nasty. Snow fell again and I sure don't want to shovel anymore snow this year.

Welcome to this week's challenge from The HobbyCutz challenge where the theme is Lots of layers. Our sponsor this week is

Here's my creation

The image is Bubbly Sassy and she was colored with prismacolor pencils and memento markers. The mats were cut with my cricut each at 3 1/4" and 3 3/4" and some adhesived pearls were added. The papers are from Crate paper and the sentiment is a rub-on sticker. I had to add the "S" to complete the word since it got stuck on the non-adhesived paper.

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone, Happy New Year!!! I can't believe we're in 2014...It was very cold yesterday where the temperature felt like -30 C! Brr, I could feel the cold in my bones and to top it off, we were out of power for 2 hrs!!! Thank goodness, the temperature is back to normal.

This week's challenge for Creative Fingers is Anything goes and we are sponsored by

and this is what I created

This is Velma Sassy whom I colored with prisma pencils and Memento markers. Papers are from American Crafts, an old 12 x 12 pad and the sentiment is from one of those stamp sets where I didn't keep the name.
Mats were done with my spellbinders and to finish this up, I added some twine.

Hobbycutz Challenge #26 - Sassy Studio

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!!! Can you believe how fast the week has gone by...Soon, December will be here!

I was recently accepted into the Hobbycutz Challenges and here I am for my first challenge with them. The theme this time is "Steampunk" and we're playing with Sassy Studios.

Steampunk is way out of my comfort zone and honestly, I had to google the word to get a better understanding of it.

Josephine was a fun image to work with.  She is colored with prismacolored pencils and baby oil, then popped up with dimensional foam tape.

The gears are from Tim Holtz's Sprocket Gears and Mini Gears. The leaf accent on the left is a metal sticker form Momenta. The paper used is from Colorbok and I used a ready made scallop card from Michaels.  The black border is from my Fiskars punch.

Colors used:

Hair - canary yellow PC916, Cream PC914
Skin - Light peach PC 927, Peach PC939
Dress - Sand PC940, Yellow Ochre PC942

Hair: PC943, PC945 and PC937
Skin: PC927 and PC939

This month at PCP, the monthly progressive challenge from SSS is to use Scarecrow Sassy and the theme was Fall. Papers are from Making Memories and I love those. The sentiment reads "Fall gathering for my family party tonight" and these are stickers from the Fall Making Memories kit.

Hope you like it!
