Make a Wish

Hello again, I was running to make this one and finally did in the nick of time. This is for the Whimsie Doodles monthly challenge.

I used the Shell a bration set in the This and That section. I went for a masculine birthday card since one of my daughter's friend birthday is coming up very soon. I know he loves basketball and so, I chose these papers. The pearl and balloon fish were colored with my prismacolored pencils and I matted them onto some black cardstock.

I used my Cricut to make a circle that I cut in half for the basketball paper. The sentiment is from the birthday Inkadinkado set and these were stamped on a balloon die cut from Whimsy stamps.

To finish the card, I added some green twine.

My sketch comes from the Whimsie Doodles Jan challenge.

Merry Xmas

Hello everyone, it's my second post for today. It's contest week over at Mojo Monday and I wanted to have this card in it. The image is from Whimsie Doodles, Gingerbread Man, which was a freebie a couple of weeks back.

I went with a simple card where I stamped some snowflakes in red pigment ink and made my own background.

The sketch comes from Mojo Monday 322.

Hope for the Cure of Breast Cancer

For this past week, so many blogs have been talking about fighting Breast Cancer and I do hope that one day, there will be a cure for this disease. One of my aunts was diagnosed with this condition and she had to remove one of her breast unfortunately. She is now well though. I owuld like to dedicate this card to her because she is the living proof that even with only one breast, one can still survive...

I have inspired myself from Card Patterns and most of my colors are PINK for this cause. I have used Hope Butterfly, colored it with copics and used stickles. I have also embossed my paper with the Cricut Lite Bloom embossing folder and used some ribbons from my stash.
