{DGDT} I love Canada!!!

Hello and Happy Saturday! Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Doodle Garden this month. The theme is a patriotic one so let's show off our patriotic colors. Since I'm from Canada, this is my way to show off my patriotic colors and I made a spinning card.

 Here it is

I followed this video tutorial to make this. This little cutie is Three Cheers girl, which you can find here. She was colored with prismacolored pencils and gamsol. I tried to draw a maple leaf flag but failed to do it properly :-( Shame on me!!!

As you can see from this picture below, I used a 1 cent coin to make the girl spin. I cut the circles with the circle nesties (2 different sizes) and passed it through the chevron embossing folder. I added a piece of foam to the coin and made sure to lay it between the circles.

I hope you liked it and for more inspiration, visit my fellow teamies here

{DGDT} You're Amazing

Good morning and Happy Friday everyone! Today's is my turn to post on the Doodle Garden blog.

This is Princess and the Frog, which you can find here. She was colored with prismacolor pencils and baby oil. The background was dry embossed with a Swirls cuttlebug folder. Sentiment is from PTI.

To finish it off, I placed some pearls at the bottom right and added some twine and flowers from Prima.

Hope you like it,

Jennyfer

{DGDT} Summer

Hello everybody and Happy Saturday! What are your plans for this weekend? We will have to use plenty of sunscreen today since it will be nice and sunny. Yippee!!! We have been waiting too long for this kind of weather especially after a rude, long winter...

Today is another monthly challenge over at the Doodle Garden blog and our theme is Summer. I chose to color Beach Day with my trusty prismas and gamsol. A very quick and layered card perfect for summer! My sketch comes from Try Stampin on Tuesday.

Toodles now,

Jennyfer

Hi and Happy Friday! Sorry it's a late post but with sick people in the house, it's just not easy to create. This is for my weekly post over at Doodle Garden and I have used Daddy's Helper - Little Boy

He is colored with my trusty prisma pencils and gamsol. The banner was cut with my cricut using Princess Party cartridge. I also used my eyelet setter for the white diamond eyelets in the banner. The word "Dad" has been doodled with my white gel pen. Paper is from American Crafts, twine and button are from stash.

{DGDT} Up, up & Away

Happy Friday everyone! It's my weekly post for the Doodle Garden. How is it going on  your side? Ours is certainly off to a great start! We are doing some renos of our backyard finally, been a long, long time. We are sure looking forward to a new patio so we can chill during summer.

My little cutie is Aviator Boy that you can find in the store here. I love every single image of Jennifer's, they're SO SO cute!!!

I went with a masculine card, something I rarely create. I colored Aviator with prismacolor pencils and gamsol, fussy cut and popped him up with some foam dots. Papers are from October Afternoon Travel Girl and sentiment is from Up, UP & Away (The clouds too!)

Hope  you like it and remember we have our monthly challenge going on. Check it out!

{DGDT} Thinking of You

It's Saturday and tomorrow will be a special day since it will be Mother's day in Canada. I would like to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to every mom who is a mom, be it your mum, mom-in-law, aunt, sister etc... Without them, our world would not be the same...

This is my weekly post for the Doodle Garden blog. I was supposed to do it yesterday but my daughter had a school performance. So here is Muffin Mouse, which you can find here in the shop.

It was colored with prismacolor pencils and I followed the sketch from Sugar Pea Designs and column #1 for the twist at 613 Create Avenue.

Friends

Hello again, if you're here for the Sunflowerfield challenge, please click here

This has been a very busy week as you can see and I promise this will be the last for today. I recently made the DT for the Doodle Garden blog and boy, am I excited! Jennifer Nilson, the owner, has the cutest stamps ever and this is Ellie Elephant.

Here is what I came up with

Ellie and her friend have been colored with prismacolored pencils and memento markers. The dp is from an old Cosmo Cricket pad (Double Deck). I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder and a wax crayon to add some texture. Flowers are from a Marvy Uchida punch and the leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch. I doodled some lines on the flowers and added some sequins for the centre. Sentiment is from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Here is a close up

Have a fab day!! I just recently created my Facebook Page. I would love for you to visit me. Thanks.

Challenges:

I love you

Hello and welcome everyone to another weekly challenge from AudSentiments. This week our sponsor is Add A little Dazzle. Our challenge this week is a Bingo challenge and here is what you can play with.

I used the far right column: used some texture (embossing and lace), die cuts and 3-word sentiment. My image is a ladybug from the Doodle Garden. The ladybug is colored with my prismacolored pencils and baby oil. The hearts were made with my Cricut using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge at different sizes starting from 3 3/4" to 5" where I embossed the one in the middle.

I also used my spellbinders circle and scallops die to mat the ladybug and used some dimensionals to pop the image up. You will see that I have cut the bottom of the heart since it had a pointy end and this was not helping the card stand up.

Hope you like my project today and please do visit my fellow teamies here for more inspiration.

P.S: I have created a new FB page for my creations. I would love for you to join me there too. Hugs xoxo
