Make A Wish

Happy Saturday! Yay! Today a new challenge starts over at Doodle Garden. We have an inspiration photo for you to play with below.

For my project, I made a box of treats. The box was cut at 5 1/2" from the Tags, Bags and More 2 cartridge from my Cricut. For the image, I used Birthday Wishes for You, which I colored with prismacolored pencils. I also used my nesties to cut the scallop mat and added some pink glitter around the image. The flowers were cut from the Flower Fun Spring grass die and some pearls were added for the middle.

The sentiment comes the Chelsea set and I used my square punch to make the corners of the banner. I do apologize for the darker pictures today since the weather has not been cooperating today.

Here are more pictures of the treat box. Enjoy!

Hello

Hello everybody! Happy Tuesday! How was your weekend?? I am swamped with DT commitments but I managed to do a card today. I really, really wanted to play with this cute digi from YNS, Tobi with Pinwheel. Here is my card:

She was colored with my prismacolored pencils (see the pics below) and I used my rectangle nesties to do an out-of-the-box technique. I also doodled around the borders and added some grass from a YNS Flower Fun Spring die. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom of the image and matted the background and image with black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in pink pigment ink.

My inspiration came from the sketch and the photo where I used the colors of the flowers.

{SBC} Remember the Happy moments

Good morning! Happy Sunday! Hope you had an awesome breakfast today. Today is my last DT post for the Scrapbook Blessings Club Challenge. Our sponsor is A day for Daisies and our challenge is a mini challenge where it's Anything Goes. You can also combine it using the different tutorials we had from Jan to Mar of this year. More details on the blog here.

I made an easel card and also made my own patterned papers. I wanted to go with a mom's theme. The image, Mom Hugs, was printed onto Neenah Cardstock and colored with prismacolored pencils.  I also die cut the scallop frame and the mat using the Elegant Cartridge. The stamps used are unknown since I threw away the papers. I doodled around the border for the sentiments and added a kind of flower lol. To finish, I added a flower that was glued onto twine and a circle made with a 1" punch!

Hello Friday and Hi everybody!!! Yesterday marked the first day of Spring and boy, it wasn't Spring at all. It was all so chilly and windy...Felt like autumn to me. Today is another challenge at Creative Fingers. Our sponsor is Nikki Burnette and the theme is Glitter.

The image, Little Red Riding hood, has been colored with Prismacolored pencils and matted with different colored cardstocks. I have used the out-of-the-box technique here. I added glitter on one of the mats and the cape.

Here is a close up of the glitter in its glory!

Happy Birthday Sister

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Hope your morning is off to a great start! I'm here today with our monthly challenge at SunflowerField Designs. Since it's only the second challenge, the theme is "Birthdays and Flowers". You can choose to add Flowers or make a birthday card or use both. I used both and I even made my own flowers.

Here is my mine

The cute image is Surprise Puppy which I colored with my prismacolored pencils. My papers are from the DCWV Birthday set and the ribbon is from my stash. My flowers have been hand rolled and I added some cotton ball in the middle to act as a cushion for the black adhesived pearl in the middle. I also added some birthday candles with a Martha Stewart punch and a sticker (Sister).

I followed Beate's tutorial to make this circular side step card and this was my first attempt. It was a bit tricky to cut the papers for the mat and also, I had to be extra careful when making the steps on the side. I will leave you with a close look of the image.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Sunflowerfield Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from my teammies. We hope you will play along this week!

My first ATC

Hello everyone, it's definitely snowing hard over here and I don't know when we will catch a glimpse of spring... I know, I know it's only a couple months away but really, just when I thought we had enough snow. It had to fall again and poor hubby had to shovel...

On a positive note, it's my DT day for the SBC team and this week, the DT had to make ATC or better yet known as Artist Trading Cards. Let me tell you, I sure did not know how to do one but thanks to my friend Google and DT Sandy's video, I was able to have a quick look and understand what I needed to do.

I went with a simple design since I wanted it to reflect what I liked to do best ie Coloring with my prisma pencils. I chose an old Hampton Art stamp and inked it with my memento black ink. Fussy cut around the stamp and added some dimensionals at the back. Embossed my cardstock and added some twine and a small heart at the bottom. To finish, I glued 3 pieces of cereal boxes cut at the size of the ATC, which is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Hope you like it and if you are in need of some more inspiration, please visit us at the Scrapbook Blessings Club.

Peace

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday!!! This week over at The Scrapbook Blessings Club, the DT was asked to make their own background paper. I was a bit scared since I usually do NOT resort to this since I hoard patterned papers...

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps

Since I had the image of a Rock Star, I knew that it had to have some pizzazz and this got me thinking on how to do I get this guy to shine?

An idea struck me when I found the Cupcake Party set. I chose the fireworks and stars, inked them with gold, brown and different shades of blues.

As you can see, I cut my background paper in 3 and mixed them to find a cohesive pattern.

Hope you have enjoyed this and should you need more inspiration, please visit us at The Scrapbook Blessings Club

Happy Birthday Princess

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a C.C Designs Monthly Challenge. This week the challenge is Birthday and I chose to play with White, a stamp I had won a while back. I LOVE this stamp and I decided to go with paper piecing the dress of the princess.

Every little girl loves a princess in pink but this little girl is a green color lover too so had to make her wish come true. Here she is again showing all the dimensions I added for her accessories, which I got from the 3 bugs in a rug designer paper. I also added some red Candy Cane stickles (available in the SSS store) to her crown, earrings and dress since princess love sparkles.

My sketch comes from the Pile it On challenge #37. I would also like to enter this in the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge where you have to mention what products you used from the Simon Says Stamp store (American Crafts Double Sided Tape, Red Candy Cane Stickles).

I'm also entering it in the Anyone for Anya challenge.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: White C.C Designs rubber
Ink: printer
Paper: Copic xpress, 3 bugs in a rug, cosmo cricket
Extras: nesties, Darice dots e/f, SU dimensionals, American Crafts Double Sided Tape (SSS Store)

Enchanted Pumpkin

Hello peeps, it's been a while since I blogged. Kids have been back to school and I have been busy going back and forth with my son's school. He hasn't adjusted to kindergarten yet and thus, I had to check upon him. Poor him!

My sketch uses the sketch from "I {heart} Sketch #33 and since it's fall, I went with a fall theme. The image is from Doodle Pantry and I picked a colored one since I never did that before. I did add a little embossing and used some MME stickers for the sentiment.

Doesn't the image represent an enchanted pumpkin with the bear coming out of it?

Challenges:
Doodle Pantry - Use a Doodle Pantry image
Simon Says Stamp - Emboss
Milk Coffee Challenge - Fab fall colors
House of Gilli - Anything goes/ Fall
