Celebrate...Birthday Wishes

Hi and Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe this week has gone by so fast! This week has been very busy for me. This is my weekly post for the Doodle Garden and I have used Lasso Lucy Cowgirl.

She was colored with prismacolored pencils and fussy cut. The white mat is from Bazzill and the brown mat was cut using the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge. Designer papers are from the Studio Calico pad. Flowers are made from a Marvy Uchida punch and I added some buttons and green twine to finish. Sentiments are from Inkadinakdo stamp set.

My sketch comes from PaperTake Weekly

Happy Birthday and Merry Kissmas

Happy Thursday everybody and it's a chilly one out there! It's currently -12 outside and with the wind chill, I dare not even say it!

Today, I played with one of the SVG Cutting Files for their Birthday Challenge. Mind you, this wasn't easy for me since I don't play with my cricut often but I made it... I used the Party Hat Kitty Slide Card and went with a Birthday/ Xmas theme since somebody's birthday falls on Xmas day!!! Talk about a double party for that sweet little girl!

Here's the inside and sentiments are from the Simon Says Stamp Big Holiday Wishes and Happy Birthday Sets.

Challenges:

SVG Cutting Files - Birthday
Simon Says Stamp - Snow (On the papers)
Whimsy Inspires - Party Time

Happy 6th Birthday Evan

Last Saturday, my daughter and myself went to one of her classmate's 6th birthday where she could play mini golf-in-the-dark, bowling and jumping on bouncing castles. She was hooked and of course, by the end of the night, she did not want to go home.

I made an explosion box for this little guy and also, made my own wrapping paper. I have followed the tutorial from stampinuplisa on Youtube. It was very easy to follow and here is what I came up with:

This is the wrapping paper. I have used stamps that I had received as a swap and unfortunately, I don't have the names of these. The sentiment got smudged by my daughter, LOL!

Here is the explosion box:

The box from the outside

The insides where I've added the "Happy Birthday" sentiment with rub-ons

Happy Birthday Daisy!

This is my first post for this new year of 2012 and so, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2012!

My card is for Daisy who celebrated her 6th birthday on Dec 25th. She is a Christmas baby and that is why I have used a Christmas digi for her. I have paper pieced the bottom of the snowglobe after I have colored it with my prismacolored pencils. I have tried using baby oil for the first time to show the contrast in color.

I have used the sketch from Sweet Sunday.

Here is what I came up with:

Here is the inside:
Recipe:

Paper: Natural Bazzill Cardstock, White Bazzill Cardstock, MS pink cardstock, designed paper from stash.

You might be wondering why I have "Cute as a buggy" as my title? That's because I had used my cuttlebug for the first time since hubby gave it to me for my birthday and that was a while back. It's been sitting in a corner and today, I've decided it has to come out!!!

I've made 2 cards today and please bear with me if this post is a tad bit too long. The first card is for my nephew who's turning five this Saturday and he loves BOATS, so I figured this would work out well. I've used the sketch from Sketch Saturday:

Supplies:
MS cardstock paper, paper from stash, Mary, Mary freebie image from Designed to Delight, flower image from Floppy Latte Designs, Friends sentiment from Meljen's Designs and Wishing you a tweet day sentiment from Doodle Pantry, Floral fantasy embossing folder.

This is my first birthday card that I did for a special friend last March. I really wanted to give it to her and this is what I came up with.
