Happy Halloween - A tag!

Another Halloween but this time , my daughter (4) and myself made this Halloween tag - Our first! The image is Pumpkin and Tags. She wanted to give some treat bags to her friends and thus, I have helped her in the cutting of the image and the rest, she has done it herself. I have used my prismacolor pencils and she taped in some Halloween foam shapes on the tag. I think it's cute for a 4-year old!!! What do  you think??

Hope for the Cure of Breast Cancer

For this past week, so many blogs have been talking about fighting Breast Cancer and I do hope that one day, there will be a cure for this disease. One of my aunts was diagnosed with this condition and she had to remove one of her breast unfortunately. She is now well though. I owuld like to dedicate this card to her because she is the living proof that even with only one breast, one can still survive...

I have inspired myself from Card Patterns and most of my colors are PINK for this cause. I have used Hope Butterfly, colored it with copics and used stickles. I have also embossed my paper with the Cricut Lite Bloom embossing folder and used some ribbons from my stash.

Challenges:

The Classroom - Pink Thank you
Card Patterns - Sketch 136
Sassy Cheryl - Show me #46
Whimsie Doodles - Think Pink

Beautiful as a peacock!

For this week, I had to use this beautiful peacock from Designed 2 Delight to create a card. Thus, I used Nana Vic's frame to highlight this elegant animal and of course, to make it more into a "summery" card, I added the flowers from Designed 2 Delight (Please note that these were offered a couple of weeks back).

I went for a CAS card to represent the beauty of the peacock. I've coloured the image with my Prismacolor pencils and used pop dots to give the peacock an elevated effect.

Thanks for peeking.
