Whisper

If you are looking for my DT post with the SBC, please check it here.

Hi everyone and it's me again. It's already Sunday and here we are with another challenge from HobbyCutz. The challenge this week is For a lady and our sponsor is Aurora Wings. I chose Wisteria but it took me quite some time to figure out how to color this beautiful image.

It was colored with prisma pencils and baby oil, fussy cut and mounted with some foam dots. My card base and sentiment are from Michaels. The scallop border was done on some scrap paper with my cricut and the embossed mat was done with the dots embossing folder. I used some adhesived pearls to make it more girly and added some mulberry flowers on a wooden leaf from the Hobbycutz store.

Graph'It Markers - AG w/different colored hair

My first ATC

Hello everyone, it's definitely snowing hard over here and I don't know when we will catch a glimpse of spring... I know, I know it's only a couple months away but really, just when I thought we had enough snow. It had to fall again and poor hubby had to shovel...

On a positive note, it's my DT day for the SBC team and this week, the DT had to make ATC or better yet known as Artist Trading Cards. Let me tell you, I sure did not know how to do one but thanks to my friend Google and DT Sandy's video, I was able to have a quick look and understand what I needed to do.

I went with a simple design since I wanted it to reflect what I liked to do best ie Coloring with my prisma pencils. I chose an old Hampton Art stamp and inked it with my memento black ink. Fussy cut around the stamp and added some dimensionals at the back. Embossed my cardstock and added some twine and a small heart at the bottom. To finish, I glued 3 pieces of cereal boxes cut at the size of the ATC, which is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Hope you like it and if you are in need of some more inspiration, please visit us at the Scrapbook Blessings Club.

You are sweet

If you are looking for my baby layout for the SBC team, please click here

Hi, it's me again with my second post of the day. I am playing for the SOTM challenge for From The Heart Stamps. They have this cute kitty as a freebie and today, is the last day to enter for this challenge.

The sketch has a circle for the main image but I went with a scallop rectangle instead. The scallops were done with my Cricut. I added some washi tape and colored the image with my prisma pencils. I also added some glossy accents to my red punched hearts (can't really see it here). The sentiment and the heart comes from an Avocado Arts set.

My sketch comes from I{Heart}Card Sketch

Baby layout

Hello and Happy Friday everyone. Finally the weekend is almost here and we are celebrating the lunar new year - the year of the horse today. Its my DT day at the Scrapbook blessings Club and today, I have a baby layout of my daughter when she was only a day old.

Please keep in mind that I have done this after 6 years, yes, that many. So I went with a simple layout and added some dimensional stickers from MME. Papers are from same company. I also added some handwritten journaling. The shapes were cut with my Cricut using the Elegant Edges cartridge.

So, what do you think? Please be honest.

Challenges:

Fairy Tale - More than 2 colors
Delicious Doodles - Die Cuts or Punches (Used my cricut)

Thanks and have a great day.

Thinking of You

Hi and welcome back to this week's challenge at Aud Sentiments. The theme is use a Valentine's sentiment of some type! . Easy Peasy right?

We got to play with some fabulous images from our fab sponsor, QKR Stampede, which by the way is offering 5 digis to the winner.

I colored Boy with balloons with my prisma pencils, fussy cut and added some glossy accents to the balloons. I mounted him on some die cuts from my Elegant Edge cricut cartridge - love that one! I also added a border with my Fiskars punch and glued some ribbon sequins on it.

The sentiment is from one of the Inkadinkado stamp set and I made that banner with scissors. I added some dimensional tape under the first black layer mat.

Here's a close up
