Never forget kindness

Hello and Happy Friday! Hope you have plans made for the weekend. Ours will be rainy and cold...SO NOT looking forward to it! My card is a pretty simple one for the KKS challenge where you have use oldie but goodie stamp.

I have colored her with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I matted her on some kraft cardstock, the shape I cut from my Cricut and added some brown-orangey chalk around her to create a halo. I also doodled around the border.

My sketch comes from YNS, which is my 2nd entry.

Did I miss something???

Hi again, this will be a short post as I'm just under the line to submit this. I'm here with a sketch from Deconstructing Jen and I'm playing with one of the KKS stamps, Patsy for the wonderful Wednesday challenge.

Patsy has been colored with prismacolored pencils and layered with Bazzil cardstock. Papers are a mix of AC, Studio Calico and some embossed paper with my swirls folder.

My sketch comes from Deconstructing Jen.

Daisies are like Sunshine on the ground

Hello everyone and hope  you're having a great Wednesday so far. Here, we had a heavy snowstorm and we have had up to 10 cm of snow and still falling... I wanted to make a spring-like card to cheer me up.

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is having a Krafty Bowl Challenge this week and I really wanted to play. I do hope I can make more than one card... KKS has different challenges for this and I had to choose something new. I just bought this Daisy Mae and I couldn't wait to color it up.

I colored Daisy Mae with my prisma pencils and baby oil, cut her up with my dies and matted with black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on some vellum paper and I had to use my black marker to highlight the color since it was too mat...

My sketch is from Tuesday Throwdown

Hope you feel better soon

Hello, hello everybody! Brrr, it's really, really cold in Ontario right now...Yesterday, we had freezing rain and today, it's the aftermath..... The roads are ok but the sidewalks...No comments since the people did not clean them...Ugh!

Back to business LOL

I have been meaning to play with Kraftin Kimmie's challenge and even with my limited number of KKS stamps, I really, really wanted to come and play. So here it is

The stamp is called Akiko and I think she is retired now but I really love her. KKS are so versatile and I could do Akiko for a birthday or a Valentine's one. I went with a get well card since my friend is sick.

She is colored with my prisma pencils and memento markers. I added some stickles glue on the embellishments and used a dots e/f for my background. I finished off with some sequins.

Hope you can see the sparkle on her dress and the embellishments

My sketch comes from the Seize The Sketch

Krstin Kimmie is having a Krafty Guest contest where you can win some rubbah and I wanted to try. I know there are so much talent out there, way BETTER than me... If I get it, It will be awesome and if not, well, I will try again :-) Cross fingers for me my friends...
