Here is what I did for Day 1

Paper tearing is fun as there is no right or wrong way to do it! I did a tone-on-tone background with a snowflake stamp and versamark ink. The image was colored with Memento inks and prismacolor pencils and popped with dimensionals. Added some pearls and doodled and there it is!

Here is a close up!

Be Mine

This will be my last Valentine's project for this  year and I chose to play with the Hero Arts "A Natural Love" Digis.  I bought this last year and never had the chance to play with it.

This month's theme is Love & Lace and a sketch challenge with a fun fold technique.

I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I went with an easel card and added the love & lace too.

The heart and patterned paper are from Martha Stewart's Valentine paper pad. The squirrels were colored with prismacolored pencils and I added some googly eyes. I also added some lace from my stash and the sentiment is one that I typed up "My Heart is overflowing with Love".

TIP: To make the banner sentiment, fold ends back on themselves to create the look.
