Wishing You another Year of Blessings

Hello, hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Hope you are enjoying family time with family & friends and that you've had an AWESOME Black Friday too! I have a cold so bear with me today please. 

Now, onto my card, From The Heart stamps had this image called Balloon Ride for their Progressive Challenge and I played with their sketch #44. Ta-da!

The image was colored first with prismacolored pencils and then stickles of different colors were applied. I did a sky background with my Memento drop and some cloud template. You will notice that one of the mouse (on the left) has a red "feather" on his head. I made a boo boo and I couldn't remove it so had to make as if he was wearing one...

Everything was then matted on kraft cardstock and I added some border with a Fiskars punch. To finish, I added some pearls. Here is the inside.

Happy Saturday everyone! This week's sketch comes from The Heart Stamps and I went with a non-traditional Xmas card. I colored the stamp with my Memento markers and it was my first aim at it. It almost feels like coloring with no black lines...

It's the first official day of Spring here in Toronto but you can't hear the birds chirping yet. It's so cold and windy...We had freezing rain all day yesterday. What is Mother Nature up to? I do hope this wil clear but it seems that rain is coming our way.

 

 

 

 

 

Papers are from My Minds Eye and I didn't even know I had those until yesterday..Talk about hoarding eh??? I colored the "Spring Baskets" image from Delightful Inspirations with my trusty prismacolors, added some butterflies, doodled the lines and finish it off with a sentiment from Avocado Arts "Springtime Celebrations". I used the sketch #10 from I{heart} sketches.

Happy 6th Birthday

 

Hello everyone, this dyno-mite card was made for a friend's son who celebrated his 6th birthday today. My kids and myself had so much fun indoors at the indoor playground. The weather was very cold and windy though. We all loved our time spent in the big slides and mummy was happy too. Tonight will be a very good one :-)

 

 

The image is from "From the Heart Stamps" and I used the sketch below. Colored the dinosaur with prismacolored pencils and papers are from my stash. Sentiment comes with the dinosaur which was perfect for this cold, windy weather.
