You're the apple of my eye

Hello everyone, for this weeks challenge at The Stamping Chef (TSC), the theme is Girly Challenge and I chose to play with one of the playful Pin-ups called Forbidden-Fruit.

I colored her with my trusty Prismas and I'm still trying to get the shading. Papers are from We R Memory Keepers. To get the yellow border, I used the negative of the punched flower that you can see on the inside of the card.

The Stamping Chef Sketch Challenge - 3/27

Good morning everyone, today over at TSC, is another sketch challenge. We were given the sketch below to play with and I chose Culinary Claire. I know Valentine's day is over already but this was the theme that inspired me.

As always, I colored with my Prismas. Papers are from Martha Stewart pad, stamped on some white twill and punched some hearts. I popped the image using some foam dots. To finish it off, I added some paper flowers and punched leaves.

Please visit my fellow members and leave them some love.

Good Luck/ Green Challenge at The Stamping Chef

This week at The Stamping Chef, the challenge is Good Luck/Green. I decided to ink up Ally O'Malley with my prismacolors. I used up some scrap papers, die cut and cuttlebugged the white cardstock and finish it off with some Shamrock stickies. This is not what I had in mind but with a sick 3 year old, this had to make do.

You can enter this challenge here and visit The Stamping Sous Chef's inspiration to get you started.

Sweet as Sugar

It's the final day for the birthday bash over at Designed to Color and I wanted to include this sweet card for their Tic Tac Toe challenge where I chose Purple, Ribbon and Bling. I designed this card with the sketch below from Delightful Inspirations.

The image is Miffy from The Stamping Chef, a brand new company owned by the artist Tamara from The Netherlands. My papers are from DCWV - The Sweet Stack and the rest are scraps. I colored Miffy with my prismacolors and matted her with a light purple cardstock. I also added some adhesived star bling ribbon and a flower to finish everything off.

Happy Birthday M

Hello my friends, this week has been a tedious one since both kids were sick. It was like they were each taking turns to be sick. My son just finished being on antibiotics that it was my daughter's turn to be sick and she had a high fever of 39C!!! Of course, took her to the Dr, waited for 2 hrs to hear that it was only a viral cold!!Grrr!!! Now, she's feeling better and hopefully she will be going back to school tomorrow.

Today, I made a birthday card for my dearest friend M who will celebrating soon. When I colored McKenzie, I had her eclectic style in mind. It wasn't easy but here's my take with this sketch from Delightful Inspirations.
