It seems that Christmas is coming around really fast this year and I'm trying to make some cards to send overseas. I wanted to break from this routine by making this card for one of my friends whose hubby is in Iraq right now. It's very difficult for her to be without him especially with Remembrance Day coming up this weekend. Her dad was in the forces too and she can't help remember him.I have used the Spellbinders Classic Squares to cut the image after I have colored it with Prismacolored pencils. I then matted it over some Pink Cardstock, layered it over some patterned papers after I have placed down a strip of punched border. I then stamped the sentiment in Black Tsukineko Memento Ink and popped it with some Pop Dots.
