Yay for Ice Cream sundaes

Hello everyone! Im glad to be back in blogland. I have been MIA the past few weeks because I have been cleaning up my craft room and also, my allergies are acting up! My craft room is halfway there and I can see all my ribbons in one place, thanks to the help of mum and my DD. Enough chit chatting and let's back to business shall we?

Here's my finished card, a very simple one.

The image from Doodle Pantry was printed on Neenah Cardstock and colored with prismacolor pencils. It was then glued to the cardstock from Recollections. Alphas from Colorbok and some yello twine were added to the left.

This card will be entered in the following:

Doodle Pantry - Use a doodle pantry image

You're on my mind

This birthday card is for my friend who LOVES ice-cream!!! I have used the sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday (see right) used the image from Pattie's Creations.  I am entering this card in the last progressive challenge over at CDAC where the theme was "Summer's Sizzles" and Pattie's Creations where I have used gems, glitter, ribbon and sentiments.

The sentiments are from Create with TLC and Stampin' Up. I have repeated the image 3 times and flipped the sketch, colored the ice creams with prismacolors and use dmy Swiss dots folder for the background.

Baby Shower

This is a card that I have made for the CDAC Progressive Challenge #17 where the theme was "You've got the cutest little baby face!" but we didn't need to follow the theme and so, I went with a baby shower theme. One of my friends is expecting a baby by the end of this month. We're planning a surprise baby shower for her and I do hope she will like this.

Usually, I place my image on the front of the card but this time, I wanted to try something new, that is, have the image inside the card. It was a bit tricky to come up with something but I love the result.
