Happy birthday Sabi!!!

My friend Sabi just had her birthday this past weekend and thus I made up this card for  her. It was supposed to be a card that sits on the table but I found it to be better like this. I'm not sure how you call that though. I've used Gift Emmylou and colored them with copics. I've used some prisma flowers and some scrap cardstock and ribbons from stash. Of course, I had to use my nesties for this and used my scallop punch to be able to write the sentiment on it.

Here's the front of my "card":

Here's the back:

Blasting from the past

For this week, we had to use an image of Meljen's design and the challenge is Blasting from the past. This is the FIRST Meljen's design image I had used. I never had the chance to post it since each week the images kept getting better and better. LOVE Meljen's design!

I've used prismacolor pencils to color the image. Can you see the glitter on the flowers? These are rub-ons from the K& Company.

Here is a close up to show the glitter and the bunny:

Made with love

This week will be a sad week for my daughter as this is her last week from her summer camp. She is starting JK this coming Sep and so, I thought of having her all by myself next week, just to have one-on-one girl's time. I decided to use the Greetings Bell Chime  stamp because I will give the teachers a thank you gift.

It seems that I've lost my mojo for the past 2 weeks and I really wanted to make a specail card for them.  I do hope they will like it:-) Do you think this card is made with LOVE?

I used brads, flowers and buttons this for my card.

P.S: My coloring is not that good. I'm trying to improve on that. Please bear with me.

Supplies:
Greetings Bell Chime stamp from Elisabeth Bell, Prismacolor pencils, Lacey circles nestabilities, Paper flowers from Shabby Chic, red button and ribbon from stash.

Decreasing Apertures!!!

When I heard about this challenge from Papertrey Ink, I thought it would be really easy but little did I know that it was quite a challenging task. So, I began to tackle the decreasing apertures by using the Nestabilities labels 4. It took me a while to figure out the right way to do it since it was my first attempt.

My favorite technique is dry embossing. Ever since I used my Cuttlebug, I find myself using it again & again. I'm so addicted!

This is the end result.

Supplies:
Paper: MS cardstock, Creative Imaginations
