SBC's Challenge #4: Twisted Easel technique

Good morning and happy Sunday everyone! Hope you're laying down cozily in your bed as you are reading this post. This week, SBC is challenging us with the Twisted Easel technique. What is that? Well, like the name says, it's an easel but twisted on its side! Now, how cool is that?

Here is what Mary from Cardztv has done:

and here's is my version using Bugaboo's Stella and Gus - Mariage. This cracked me up!

I went with a simple design since I wanted the image to shine. Love the sentiments too LOL. I colored the image with my prismacolored pencils and baby oil. The leaves are made with a stencil. Papers are from my stash.

This is the card when partly shut but it lays flat and goes in an A2 envelope.

Please check my fellow teamies for more inspiration here

  2. Great card. Prismacolor and baby oil? I have never tried that before. I have tried Prismacolor and mineral spirits. Definitely going to try the baby oil:-) Love anything new with the colored pencils.
